Service Solutions group
For the past six years I have worked for a company out of
Cincinnati, OH called Certified
Service Center. I have a satellite operation working by
myself out of London, KY, and report to the branch office in
Lexington, KY. We provide service to commercial and institutional
kitchens, primarily food service equipment, and refrigeration. We
also provide HVAC service to our customers.
About three years ago. Certified Service Center, merged with
two other companies, Authorized Service Center of Phoenix, AZ,
and Barker's of San Diego, CA. There have been trials and
tribulation, but we have come out the other side a stronger
company. Although it would seem I have seen a lot of people come
and go, I was at a recent training class, consisting only of our
employees, and I was the new kid on the block, at six years. In
an industry well known for job shopping, that says a lot.
My satellite operation covers a very large area in Eastern
Kentucky. This is good because I spend a lot of time driving
through the mountains I love, and it's bad because I spend some
long days doing little more than driving from point A to point B,
then back. I guess it all works out.
